The immediate answer
The July 28 build fixes eleven player-facing problems. The most important mechanical change prevents Confusion from being applied while Panic is already active.
The same build repairs the tutorial cage and cannon, addresses four named room problems, improves the default Scissors impact sound, fixes region selection, and adds taskbar-attention alerts.
Tutorial and status
- The tutorial cage no longer floats.
- The tutorial cannon can be used again after its first shot.
- Confusion is blocked while Panic is active.
Rooms
- Organ Hall 3F no longer traps players between planks.
- The Nocturne 3F chest spawn was repaired.
- The Ring 1F lamp visual was corrected.
- The Amusement Hall 3F wall opening was blocked.
Client and interface
- The default Scissors-hit sound is clearer.
- Settings behavior and region selection were improved.
- The taskbar icon flashes for a found match, a server connection, or a received message.
Additional installed-build findings
These two changes are present in the installed build but were not part of the official hotfix list. They are reported separately so package evidence is not mistaken for developer wording.
- A prepared inbox compensation message lists 20,000 Candy and 10 Gold Candy. The local data confirms the message and reward values, not which accounts qualify or whether the server has delivered them.
- Bunnies in Rabbit Holes or Rabbit Corpses gained protection from Scream. This appears to prevent Scream from affecting Bunnies during those protected states.
- The settings change explicitly enables volumetric fog and disables frame interpolation by default.
- The region-selection fix exists in the compiled client, but its exact implementation could not be independently recovered.
